Subject: i understand the charging a door fee but it really bugs me when i have to pay to get in even though my child is so young it is in the rules they have to have a parent on stage with them.....if i have to be on stage for her to compete then at least 1 should be given........JMO
In reply to: 's message, "I have two MAJOR gripes about the last 3 national pageants I have attended. 1. Why the heck should I have to pay for a door badge? I have spent close to a thousand dollars entering the dang pageant. Why stick it to me for another few bucks just so I can watch my little darling? 2. Let my kid practice on the stage the night before. I don't care that La'Belle isn't done decorating yet, she's 3, and gets confused. She needs to know what the "x" looks like and exactly where it is. Otherwise, the nightly practice sessions and money spent on modeling is all for nothing. This REALLY GRIPES me if modeling is scored....then a judge will say, she took her eyes off me, and looked at the floor. Of course she did, she had never stepped on the dang stage before! UGGGGG... nothing upsets me more! Okay, that's my list. =)" on 18:18:25 10/18/07 Thu
