We are ready to start the Cinderella year off with a bang! :) We are inviting all of our Cinderella Babies, Tiny-Tots & Prince Charmings (and opening it up to the older girls) to a fun time at the Olympia Hands On Children Museum. It will be this coming Saturday at 1pm-3pm and it will be before the LakeFair Parade. We thought this would be a fun event for the smaller ones to start getting involved! The later parades can sometimes exhaust the children so this is a great way to include them in on some Cinderella fun! :) And you are welcome to stay for the parade too! Here are some parade details: Cinderella has a FLOAT for the 4 upcoming parades! How exciting! The float has very LIMITED seating. ALL Cinderella participants are invited to participate in the parades, however the limited seating on the float does require a priority seating system. Invitations have been sent to all reigning state and international royalty as they have first priority. There are a couple of available spots remaining. If you are interested in one of those spots, please email me ASAP for the details. Please note all spaces are FULL for the Marysville parade. ALL Cinderella participants are invited to appear in the parades, however if we have participants in excess of the available seats on the float, the participants will either walk or ride in a car. Making arrangements for cars requires advance notice due to parade insurance requirements. If you plan to attend any of the upcoming parades and are interested in riding in a vehicle, I will need at least 2 weeks advanced notice. Date Posted: 07:58:51 05/29/09 Fri James had an accident last night involving the lawn mower and you probably know who won. He is currently at Mary Bridge and will probably be through Sunday. He had to have surgery last night to clean out the wound and to repair his partially torn achilles tendon. He will have stitches and a splint cast thing on his leg for 1 to 2 weeks. Please pray that he heals fast and that his foot will grow as it should. Thanks |

His ankle and achilles tendon were injured. Surgery is needed to correct the damage. He will OK once all heals, but for now he is at Mary Bridge Hospital until Sunday. Date Posted: 13:30:35 05/27/09 Wed Thank you Tami and Jan for the million hours you spend each year on this Pageant, prelims and other activities also to Nicole for the great fundraiser baskets. My girls didn't place well this year,living remote and without a prelim.(also allowing some natural consequences) really showed but they talked all the way home about how to do better next year. They are all very good sports and rooted for the girls in each division that they thought should win. I was speechless (that doesn't happen often) when called to the stage for the Chaperone of the year award, "Oh my Gosh" all Chaperones deserve that award. Thanks to all for the support and kind words to my girls. Congratulations to all the new 2009 Royalty you all deserve your Titles! |

Even though she didnt place I was so proud to see her cheer on her frieds for the crown! Taezha was so happy to see her bestfriend Athena place in top 5 and cheered her on from the crowd.... I really felt Taezha did an amazing job and was shocked she didnt come out with anything, does anyone has any suggestions for next year? Haley had such a great time, she loved the 70's party, pool time and making new friends. For me... meeting some great moms, sharing laughs, some tears and even though our "soul train" didn't even get out of the station (yes you know who I'm talking about) loved dancing the night away with you all. Unfortunately, he is still in the NICU. He was born 3 and a half weeks early. And he is having difficulty breathing and eating on his own. It has been 12 days and he is still in the NICU.... Please Pray for him and Lisa. |

Thank you SO much to Jan and Tami and Jonny and Nicole for all you did for everyone this weekend. It was filled with "Cinderella Magic" from the balloons in the room to the special pink sequined Great Wolf Lodge shirts! Everyone had a wonderful time playing in the waterpark for HOURS. The buffet dinner and the crazy games in the arcade were "epic"! Thank you to Aaron and Caelon for sharing your mom, Jonny and grandma with all of us. I can't wait to see you all next weekend. Katy |

Date Posted: 12:16:32 05/06/09 Wed I got this in an email and wanted to share..... What is it that enables some folks to take big-time risks without becoming a nervous wreck? Taking risks in life isn't easy, because there is always the possibility of loss involved. However, it doesn't have to be a white-knuckle experience, either. So how can you take the anxiety out of risk-taking? Well, first of all, you don't take foolish risks. Take risks only when you believe that what you are going for will be better than what you already have, and you won't want to risk anything you can't afford to lose. Second, remind yourself that risk-taking is involved in everything worthwhile in life. Without taking risks, you can't find true love, develop personal power, gain the respect of others or raise healthy, happy kids, for that matter. Third, refrain from worrying too much about the outcome. Instead, spend time imagining exactly how it will look and feel if things go just as you want them to. In other words, stay focused on what you have to gain, not what you have to lose. Our experience in life is largely determined by where we choose to focus our attention. If you think loss, talk loss, see loss day after day, it is far more likely that you will end up a loser. On the other hand, if your purpose is worthy, your commitment strong, and your thoughts focused on a positive end-result, you will behave like a winner. And whether or not any given risk pays off in the long run, if you behave like a winner you will be a winner in the only game that counts - the game of being the best you that you can be. |
