As some of you know Karley has done several princess parties for girls with cancer and leukemia. Today she made the ultimate sacrifice and took off between 10-12 inches of her beautiful hair and donated it to LOCKS FOR LOVE. She now has super short hair but is happy that some girl out there that is sad because they are losing thier hair will now get to have hers. Mommy is soooooooo proud of you Karley. |

We are just shocked! What an amazing week here at internationals! Congratulations to ALL the Washington girls! We are so proud of all of you! So - just a couple of notes on how the rest of the week went.... The prince gilbert party was SO cute! Even the adults were into it. They updated it and included several songs from Enchanted, Hannah Montana and the Jonas brothers - so the kids were REALLY into it. It was great! Plus the party was early in the evening so we were done earlier than in the past. After the party Kennedy, Jade, Gianina and the moms all went to MnM World and the coke store - that was so fun! The next day was casual wear. We got to watch Jade, Brooklynn, Delaney, Shanna, Samantha and Gianina. They all looked great! Then we finished the evening with a 70's party. I was a little worried about that - I really enjoyed the 50's party in years past - but the 70's party was a blast! The costumes were ADORABLE and the music was so fun! I hope you all can make it next year - we made SO many new friends this year and got some great ideas from other states for some fun things to do. We are so excited to come home and share all our fun stories! We leave Sunday evening - so we are going to spend a couple of fun days hanging out in Vegas. See ya all soon! Nicole and Kennedy |

With over 25 states and 6 countries wanting the titles, we let them know that Washington was there!! 12 Washington Delegates and 11 International trophies and 2 International crowns came home to Washington!!! Kennedy, I am so happy for you. Internationa Cinderella Minature Miss. Can you believe it??? This is our first overall International Winner for the state of Washington (Cinderella came to Washington, I think around 1978 or 79) You have made us all proud. Brooklyn, 2nd Alt to the overall Cinderella Miss Title and then being crowned the International Cinderella Miss Beauty. You both are awesome!! Both of our Prince Charmings made top 5 and Parker was awarded the International Prince Charming Most Handsome. Aurora, congrats on winning 3rd alt to Tiny Tot Personality! Way to go. Shanna, "Teen Most Poised". Great job!! Aimee, "Tot Most Potential", I know you already have that!!! Delaney, 2nd Alt to Photogenic. Awesome!! Jade, only your third pageant and you won 2nd Alt to Tot Personality. You are a kick!!! You always make me laugh and we all know you have personality!!! Issabelle, you are the cutest little girl. I love to hear you talk, you get so excited, you make me smile!! Sam, you are a wonderful young lady, I hope you have made lots of new friends, you did great and you were so beautiful on that stage. Date Posted: 12:57:56 07/30/08 Wed WOW! What a busy 4 days it has been! We arrived EARLY Sunday morning - checked into our room - mingled a little then got ready for cameo. CONGRATULATIONS to Brooklynn on her 3RU placement and Kennedy and Delaney on their 4RU placement in cameo! Great job girls! The 5-6 year old WA girls did a great job too! They also had the BIGGEST age group with over 30 little girls - the competition was tough! Next was interview day and the welcome banquet. I think all the WA girls felt pretty good about their interviews. They all came out smiling and happy and they tell us the judges are really nice. Kennedy, Brooklynn, Carla, Barbara and I all went shopping after interviews. I think we covered the mall twice and managed not to spend too much money - amazing! Then we finished off the evening with a nice welcome banquet. Kennedy and I sat with a Mini Miss from Utah, a pair of sisters from Delaware and one other sweet little Miss - I don't remeber where she was from though. Next morning - Mini Miss were up bright and early for talent! Talent started at 8:30am with Mini Miss and didn't finish until around 8:30pm with the Women! LOTS of talent here for sure! We were able to watch the Mini Miss through Teen talents and had a great time. We had to get back to the hotel so we missed women - but a few of the WA group was able to make it and we hear Gianina did great! Kennedy, Brooklynn, Delaney, Sam and Shanna all shined on stage! It was great to see them, cheer for them and hear the wonderful comments from the other contstants, parents and directors. =) We followed up talent with the Souvenir party. The party had a flight travel theme where the royalty and state directors shared info about othe states/countries in a game show kind of way - it was real cute! The highlight was DEFINATELY at the end of the show when there was a special appearance by the reigning Teen performing in full costume as HANNAH MONTANA! She was amazing as Hannah and you should have seen the girls! We were definately at a rock concert! Today is party wear, cindy fair and prince gilbert. We just got back from the prince gilbert party and of course the kids loved the pumpkin walk, corn dogs, pop corn, cotton candy and ice cream! They were so cute and are really having a blast! I must say I am glad they moved the prince gilbert party to earlier in the evening so we can have a little more time to rest before our final day of competition tomorrow! I am going to TRY to upload some photos to the Wa Cinderella photo album.... so check it out! |

The parade was hotter than hot but we managed thanks to Katy and Delaney and their mister that we USED MAJORLY!!! Thanks again Katy for providing your wonderful Miata for the parade...boy is your car ever getting used!! :) Carol, thank you so much for opening up your home and perfect back yard for the BBQ. The girls and little guy had so much fun!! Nicole, thank you for all the help you always provide :) I'm sure I speak for all the kids when I say the Jumper was probably by far the best thing ever!!! And that slip and slide...oh boy!!! Talk about little torpedoes sliding down the hill and flying off the end!! TOO FUN!!! Special thanks to Tori, the 2008 Miss Washington's Outstanding Teen for coming and joining us today!! How cool was that??!!! GOOD LUCK IN FLORIDA, We will all be rooting for you!! Please email me to confirm your attendance so I can be sure we have adequate space for everyone. Attire is royal blue and white outfit of your choice. Could be a blue shirt and white pants/skirt or your WA Cheer outfit. The WA Cheer outfit is preferred if you have one. If not - anything royal blue and white is acceptable. I have no clue what the weather will be like - so be sure to dress in layers just in case. =) |

Although we do not have any plans yet as far as when and where but I'M GETTING MARRIED!! My ring that Jonny picked out is so beautiful (picture below...seee!!!!!) If some of you don't know who Jonny is he is not only the greatest person that has happened to me but he's also going to be the best step-daddy to Caelon and Aaron, Not only have I fallen in love with him over and over again but the kids are so just excited!!!!! He's an amazing person and if you haven't had the chance to say hi to him (because he was behind the scenes at the state pageant doing the sound) please, I encourage you to say hi...you will immediately know why this man is so great!!! Thank you for letting me share my great news with you all!! AND NO we are not going to get married while in Vegas for Internationals...haha!!!  |

Date Posted: 13:00:41 06/10/08 Tue Sorry to have taken so long to get this out there but Moriah and I both wanted to let everyone know how much your kindness and help meant to us on finals day after most of our things were stolen out of our van in the parking lot. There would've been no way Moriah could've gone on and competed that night without everyone's help to loan us what she needed. We were just overwhelmed with offers of help and it was such a blessing. This only being our second year to take part, we still don't know most of you. However, this outpouring of kindness made us feel like we were part of a big family. We apologize to anyone we were not able to personally thank or hand your loaned items back to. We had a hard time knowing who to give the items back to not knowing names. For the people we couldn't find that lent us items, we left those items with Jan in case you haven't gotten them back. Once again thank you all very much! |

But please say a prayer for the singer of the song she danced to, his five year old adopted daughter from china was accidentally killed recently when his teenage son backed over her with thier SUV. Let this just be a reminder for all of us with SUV's that summer is apon us and we really need to watch for children who run behind the SUV's we are driving. I hope everyone has a safe and happy summer and good luck to all the girls going to internationals. |

They are COSTUME quality - the "real" kind costs closer to $45 - but I think these will suit the purpose (at least for me). They come in 2 sizes - Small (girls 11-12) and Medium (girls 13-1). Date Posted: 15:47:06 06/02/08 Mon Greetings from your Washington State 2008 Cinderella Teen Delaney Ferrell's mom, Katy Ferrell- Laura Hunter, our 2008 WA Tot Personality Queen, Isabelle Hunter's mom is offering Hair and Makeup services for Internationals. Laura has done national level hair and make-up for pageants for the past 10 years. If she confirms 7 clients she will be coming! She can take up to 10 clients, so if you are interested, please contact Laura or myself right away. Here are the details: H&M will be $295 and include parties , $100 non-refundable deposits are due 30 days before the pageant. The balance is due in cash at or before the pageant (checks are ok up to a week before the pageant). Generally, if things are close together she provides touch ups between events. If they're far apart she will be able to do regular H&M between events. H&M for parties is touch-ups, not a fresh new look. You need to show up with clean dry hair and bring any hair accessories. If you want your hair curly you should come with hot rollers freshly removed. To see samples go to Laura's photography web site at www.beyondphotography.net. We will be having another meeting to update everyone and also for all those of you that could not make it. I encourage if you do plan on going to Internationals to try and make it to the next meeting. Even though some of the outfits are the same there are some changes and some things that were talked about that I feel are important for everyone to hear and know about. Thank you Katy, Delaney and family for opening your home to all of us, you sure do know how to make everyone feel welcome!! I have received emails from some of you that could not make it to the meeting I will go ahead and forward you any information necessary to help prepare you for Internationals by tomorrow night.
