Where did you get this knowledge from?

All people are equal in Islam. Humans are dignified beings no matter what their color, race, wealth, health condition or even mental condition is. The only criteria that makes one person better than the another is "piety".

I remember having this discussion before, in Post Master, and as I used to save some of those posts in a special folder, I am going to search for some of the replies I posted there for similar misconception about Islam as by teh time I could sit to my computer, I had lost all my energy and cannot focus enough to put my thoughts in writing. I'll see what I can find and get back to you soon.

No Brian, Islam is the last message God sent to earth and therefore, it is for the rest of time. It suits all times and all places and all people. That's why Qur'an is still preserved and will always be. Notice that it has been the guidance of hundred thousands of people (now over a billion) for more than 1400 years. And still at this day, many scientists and intellectuals of all nationalities and different backgrounds still believe in it and hold it as their guidance and constitution. What book will hold on and be held and considered at the same rank of holiness all this time, if it wasn't the word of God and if it wasn't meant for every time and every place?
