I dont think I am 'right' and others are 'wrong'.

It makes sense to me and answers my questions...therefore it is 'right for me'. Christianity is 'right' for others, and Islam for others etc.

I have long believed that all the main religions are based on the same basic truths, told differently.

I agree with you that there is the 'logic' aspect to these things and there is the extra aspect.

It is useful to have a belief in something that explains what I observe, otherwise one has no limit to what one will believe.

Equally, I believe that what I observe and experience is limited by my senses, therefore not reliable.
