wow! Sorry to hear that Roger. They should make it clear when we hit 50 that the body starts to rattle and groan a lot more from now on, and bits might not fall off, but they dont work the same either.

At my old doctors surgery they had a 'Well Man' clinic. Every man on reaching 40 was to go and have a thorough check up. When I hit 40 I was a bit puzzled why i hadnt got the invite....I assumed i was clearly such a wonderful specimen that they knew it would be pointless. When I asked they said they had stopped it as there was no demand. Us guys, we dont like to admit the aging process is happening, until it hits us.
