I havent looked at the youtube clip so perhaps I shouldnt comment much, but if it is a case of a hate crime (racist or homophobic) Im afraid it is still quite widespread. In more urban areas its not so bad, mainly due to the fact that many of our cities are such a melting pot of types of people that if someone wanted to hate everyone who was different they would be exhausted (and friendless) within a few hours.
