Subject: I don't think I will ever be able to retire

My oldest son got a job. He could have waited until he had graduated before starting to work, but there is that girl who he likes and wants to propose to, so obviously, he needs to have a job before taking any step.
You think I now have one less allowance to give to the kids, right? WRONG.
The first thing he did when he was accepted and knew what will his salary be.. is asking me for a raise to his allowance because what he will be getting won't be enough!
I’m a little sympathetic with him.. but I am mostly angry.. especially if I responded to his request.. which most probably I will do.
