My interpretation of the Christian bashing was that the author believes (incorrectly) that Christianity is all bunk because it is really a Sun-god religion. And he associates Christian right-wing fundamentalism with the power-brokers, when in fact these Christians are merely pawns in their game (I do think that some Christian leaders are in cahoots, but most probably don't know the full extent of what they are dealing with). It was reported in many reputable papers that people high up in the Bush admin referred to the Christians as "wackos". Bush is no Christian - he just pretends to be.

It is my opinion that the Muslim terrorists that exist at the present time are unwitting puppets, just like everyone involved in killing one another. The 'powers-that-be' are able to manipulate some Muslims to fight in the exact same way the power-brokers were able to get American's outraged at the terrorists. Stage a few incidents and viola! Everyone wants revenge. If you look at all of the evidence, it appears likely that "Al-Qaeda" was an invention of the C.I.A., but has now "blossomed" into it's own entity.

Why did Tillman join the Marines? Because of 9-11, he wanted to protect Americans. He just didn't know who the real perpetrators were. As it turns out, he became a very outspoken critic of the Bush admin after he joined - soon after he dies of "friendly-fire", which the gov't tried to cover up.

The 'powers that be' are getting us to kill each other so they don't have to bother.
