Subject: I'm with you on the research thing. My "ideal job" would be research assistant to some writer or simply a rich eccentric with curiousity but no gift to do the actual digging. My favorite quote in Dan Brown's latest book is "Google is not a synonym for research." Heck, I can get distracted just looking up a word in a dictionary, end up reading tons of unrelated definitions and forgetting what the original word was that sent me to the dictionary in the first place! Which leads me to another quote I love (from Jacqueline Carey's Kushiel series) "All knowledge is worth having." Amen! Thanks for the glimpse into your world, Cindy.

  • I am giggling right now at the "when we go to Africa..." "I thought we were going to Russia" part...that's great! Cindy, you and I might approach things from different sides of our brains, but I tell ya our brains both work in that crazy circular way! *g* I'm glad I'm not alone! haha! And if you ever find some way to fund that research please see if they can find a few bucks for moi....I'd love to research for you and write extensive papers on how to zombify someone! *G* (NT) -- Lil, 22:55:01 12/01/09 Tue
