I don't know if Pamela was having Lawrence's dream, but I would say hers was her own variation on what he'd shared. I wasn't surprised Casey knew where to go; once he knew who Lawrence was involved with he'd have made sure to learn everything he could about the man -- know the enemy and all that. Shock does funny things to people and I think that's what kept Casey and Pamela so contained, that and the need to do right for Lawrence. I don't think Casey, Pamela or Jamie had a hand in Lawrence's death -- he was a young teen caught up in horrific circumstances who, while he was learning to trust and let others care for him, had simply not yet reached the point of being comfortable taking his troubles completely to others. Much of what we do "for" the dead is really about the living and helping them begin the grieving process and then carry on with their lives. And yes, some children/people are so damaged they can never find what most would consider a "normal" life and will always carry their memories, anger, grief and regrets with them.
