I love these two chapters. I re-read them again last night. I find a mystery intriguing and was captivated on my first read learning of how Brian was murdered. I didn't see that coming on my first read though. I agree with Father in that I think Pamela needs to forgive herself and to have Casey forgive her as well. I'm sure it's not the thing to bring up on their prison visits but I do think Pamela needs to get it off her chest and it's eating her up that she has not talked to Casey about it. -- Cindy's Cottage

I love that quote about forgiving yourself. I remember the first time I read it and where I was. Years ago, I had a priest tell me the exact same thing (not for the same situation) and it shocked the crap out of me when he said it but I've held onto that belief ever since.
