Do you need scholarships or assistance paying pageant entry fees? Miss Motor Speedway® & Miss Teen Motor Speedway® assist contestants who need assistance paying pageant entry fees. The Miss and Teen Division will receive a $1,000 cash prize and additional prizes. Looking for a Miss and Teen delegate from each state. Winners will be Official Volunteers and Members of the NASCAR Foundation. They will make appearances at selected NASCAR races/events.

The National "Miss Motor Speedway Pageant®" will be held at Vanderbilt University Student Life Center in Nashville, TN on Saturday, March 13, 2010. Contestants are encouraged and welcome to represent their state. The Miss Motor Speedway Pageant® is a volunteer and member of the NASCAR Foundation.<IMG src="http://www.tteens4christ.org/gallery/albums/album15/photo410.jpg">

Beauty Awards:
Queens/Kings-One winner (2009 Mr/Miss Southern Summertime) in each age division will win a rhinestone crown (boys win royal scepter), winners sash, and beautiful trophy.
Runners up- runners up in each age division will win a beautiful trophy.
Optionals- In each age division a winner will be chosen for best smile, best dressed, prettiest eyes, and best hair. The winners will receive a trophy. Overalls are available at an additional $25.00 fee.
All Contestants will receive a participant’s award

Supreme Titles:
Grand Supreme- The two contestants with the highest score of the day (one winner from 0-4yrs., and one from 5 and up) will receive a crown, trophy, and title sash.
Southern Hospitality: The contestant with the most votes at the door ($1 per vote) will be named the Southern Hospitality winner. Bring your family and friends! Winner will receive a trophy and sash.
(You must enter beauty to be eligible for Supreme titles.)

You know us from Dazzling Cuties: We Have three Daughters Now Hannah who is 9 Emmy ( Emily) who is 4 and Now Ava and her twin Aiden. Ava was born with Tetraology of Fellot. She is going to have OPEN HEART Surgery in April.
We would love it if you would enter her benefit contest. This contest is more to help Mom and dad out. We will be there from 6 -14 days and it looks like we will have both Aiden and Emily with us. We will be staying at the Ronald McDonald House unless they are full but patients with heart problems get bumped to the head of the line. However 14 days of meals and we will have to get a hotel the few days before her surgery. She has preopt and a few other things and the day is set for the 29th for us to go in!
So if you would like to enter then please feel free to enter! I would love to see some of my friends and my kids growing up!

OK, I know it can be sometimes dangerous seeking advice &/or opinions on a board but here goes...
My daughter has done pageants for the past 4 years (started at age 8). Due to her Bday, they have all been preteen. She has not won a crown in the Co.Fair system but has placed many times. This is her last year for Preteen, She is 5'7, 34B, size 5. We are continually told she does not look preteen. I suggested she sit this year out but she does not want too.

If we pageant this year, what r dress & hair suggestions to "young her down"...

There are 5 divisions for girls ages 3-18. Jr. Teen and Teen winners receive a Cash Scholarship, and advance to nationals. Teen nationals to be televised! All division winners receive an impressive prize package and the honor of representing Kentucky throughout the year at numerous events and special appearances. The 8th annual Miss Harvest Queen Pageants will be held at the Mackville Community Center on Saturday, October 4, 2008. There are age divisions for girls ages 0-22 and for boys ages 0-4. Entry is free for ages 0-7. Entry for girls ages 8-22 is $25.00. Divisions for ages 0-7 will be at 11:00 AM and the pageant for ages 8-22 will be at 3:00 PM.

This year each contestant is asked to bring a minimum of two canned food items for our “Queen’s Harvest Food Drive.” In addition, contestants are encouraged to ask all audience members to bring at least one canned food item for the food drive. For each canned good donated audience members will receive one free entry into a raffle drawing.

The winner was Ashley Gifford. Cute girl but is too young and has the preteen look. I think it was her dress that the judges liked. I think that there were several other girls more deserving. The first runner up should not have placed. she is a cute girl but does not have personality onstage and should not have placed. I thought the 2nd runner up was stunning and very natural, she was my pick. I have watched her compete before and she is always natural and comes across very confident. I thought that Jerrica Shannon should have placed, she was more deserving than the 1st RU. There was also a cute dark headed girl with long hair that should have placed. There’s an all new McCrearyFest on the horizon. Miss McCrearyFest, that is. With the same traditional values that have served the festival for nearly three decades, Miss McCrearyFest 2008 is getting a makeover. Well, a re-makeover anyway. She’s inviting in the 21st Century, though all the while returning to her bonafide pageant roots.

With McCrearyFest president, Shane Gilreath, at the helm, with a 4 year agreement to remain as executive-director, and the help of, among others, Miss McCrearyFest 1986, Dana Rector-West, the McCrearyFest Board of Directors has set out to re-establish the identity of the young woman bearing the McCrearyFest title as a pertinent and valuable part of our local community.

With a much anticipated return to the stage of McCreary Central, the 2008 installment will see Miss contestants (16 and up) compete in elements that haven’t been seen on the McCrearyFest stage in years. Swimsuit and interview are making a welcomed return, coupled with competitions in evening gown and the all-important on-stage question. Added to the Teen pageant (13-15 years) will be a competition in sportswear.

“We’ve welcomed new pageant sponsors this year,” Gilreath said. “This year’s prize package is expected to be the largest in pageant history, which is something we’re really excited about.”

Part of that winning prize package for Miss McCrearyFest 2008 will also be a trip to Miss Kentucky United States this April in Covington, with a chance to compete in Las Vegas for the Miss United States title. Initial deadlines have been extended, and applications, available throughout the community and on the official McCrearyFest website (www.mccrearyfest.com), are currently being accepted for all divisions of the 2008 Miss McCrearyFest pageant. Interested parties can contact Shane Gilreath at mccrearyfest@hotmail.com.

“We’ve returned the pageant to its original format with Miss McCrearyFest getting her own night,” Gilreath added. “I think we’re really going to amp-up the prestige of this pageant. Make it as close to the big time as anything in our county.”

Part of the amping up of the pageant is expected to be the presence of David Darring, a Kentucky filmmaker whose works have taken him to Hollywood and back. Darring plans to produce a documentary of the 2008 pageant.

The winner of this year’s pageant is expected to receive an as-of-yet unannounced scholarship award, with all participants of Miss McCrearyFest receiving gifts from sponsors from as far away as Colorado.

With three nights of pageants slated on the McCrearyFest agenda, Miss McCrearyFest 2008 will be crowned on Saturday, September 27, 2008 at McCreary Central High School. Entry Fees for Miss McCrearyFest and Miss Teen McCrearyFest are set at $65. All other divisions, with the exception of the newly-added Mrs. McCrearyFest ($40) are $50 per entrant.

“Unless participation is low this year, the pageant will be open only to McCreary County residents,” Gilreath said, of yet another change taking place for the 2008 pageant season. “We really hope that the moms and dads and boys and girls who have supported the McCrearyFest pageants over the years, are as excited as we are, and we hope for their continued support.”

I just want to thank all of you for your wonderful comments about our pageant on the other boards. We try to run a fair pageant with a good pageant production. Because of your wonderful comments, we have decided to reduce the pageant fee by $100 if you enter any of next year's divisions Junior Teen (13-15), Teen (16-19) or our new Miss Division (20-27) by June 1 of this year. While we are still finalizing plans with the theatre for next year, our anticipated date for the pageant will be the end of February or the first of March. Thank you again. This beautiful Sashay gown is perfect for wedding or pageant! Gown is a current style, new purchase price is $1400. Gown is adorned with countless crystals that are breath taking under stage lights. Purchased in 2007 and worn in pageants; winning one, placing runner up in another, and in the Top 15 out of nearly 100 contestants in the third... this gown is a winner! This gown is appropriate for teen or miss contestants and also appropriate for a walk down the aisle as your wedding gown! Gown has no slit and does have a small train that is accented with a side panel design that flows into it. Gown is a size 8. Designer lists measurements are 35/26.5/28.5. Gown was let out approximately one inch in the rib cage area, stones were replaced perfectly. A few stones are missing from the detailing at the bottom of the dress, can be replaced very easily. This brand averages 58"-60" from base of next to hem. Owner is 5'7" and wore 4" heels. Dress is located in the Central Kentucky Area. Ideally asking $600... getting married so make an offer! Author: Jordan Moore (Brother) [Edit]	Date Posted: Sunday, December 23, 10:10:54pm cst Mary Kate Moore, born April 24th 1989 – December 23rd 2007 Late Tuesday night in Green County, my sister Mary Kate was in route to her house when she had a head on collision with an oncoming vehicle. In the event, the seat bets and airbags functioned properly, but due to the extensiveness of damage, she sustained several critical injuries. She was transported to Taylor County Regional Hospital and stabilized but with two broken arms, a hip, and her pelvis. At the time she was completely unresponsive and felt that some brain trauma had occurred. Later that morning, she was transported to University of Louisville were her prognosis was changed. In addition to her original injuries, we were informed that she had also suffered a broken neck and had abdominal bleeding. They had lost her heart twice and revived her. We were finally allowed a moment with her and she was so beautiful but her poor face was so swollen I hardly recognized her. You think to yourself, screaming, WHY GOD, WHY this little girl who had so much ambition. And there’s no answer. We felt of her on last time, She was our only baby girl and my only baby sister and I had to sit there feeling her get colder and cold. I would have given everything, my own sole if I had thought for a moment it would bring back our “moo moo” It was 5am and she flat lined, and there was nothing else that could be done and we just had to let her go, she wasn’t our Mary anymore, and every breath of body left me with her Oh Mary I Miss you SOOOO Much, Please come home Mary Kate will always be my sister. Nothing will ever change that. Nothing can ever prepare you for the loss of a loved one. I think that sibling relationships are so unique and so important. I cherished everyday, every laugh, every moment, and every aspect of this young girl’s life. My sister and I, were much, much more than just brother and sister, we were each other own best friend. I loved my sister more than anything in the entire world and nothing will ever change that. In January, she was to compete for the state title. If there was one thing she loved to do, it was fixing up for pageants. The Kentucky Fair Association has been a huge part of generations of my family and a lot of that and those families greatly impacted our lives. Last year I can say with streaming tears how proud I was of her when she was able to get her grandfathers award for congeniality. Two people I have lost in my life meant so much to me. When my grandfather died, so did part of our family. When my sister died, I felt that I lost everything. She is my sister, my friend, my rock. My prayers go out to other families too. The pageant association has seen its fair share of lost queens and my support goes to all of them. To be taken so young, with such beauty, and such ambition, it almost seems unfair. Cherish you loved ones and remember that life can take way everything in heartbeat. Be with the ones you love this holiday. Somewhere in the skies above, Mary will always be watching over all you girls and wishing you all the best. I have two daughters that compete in pageants, and are looking to compete once we have settled in. We don't do full glitz, but was wondering since every place is different that you go to, what to expect when competing in one here? In North Carolina my 9 year old usually wears a short dress, the pageants I have found online looks like they where long gowns here. Also, does anyone know of a pageant coach around the Fort Knox area, as well as someone that does hair and make up, and dance studio for classes?
