To rank in the top 1% of all US taxpayers required an adjusted gross income (AGI) level of at least $410,000 based upon calendar year 2007 tax data. This group earned 23% of all AGI nationwide and paid 40% of all federal income tax in the country (source: Internal Revenue Service, Tax Foundation).

With 2 months remaining in fiscal year 2009 (i.e., 10/01/08 to 9/30/09), the government is projecting spending of $4.0 trillion for the 12-month period. During fiscal year 2001 (i.e., the first fiscal year during the presidency of George Bush # 43), total government spending was $1.9 trillion (source: Treasury Department).

The government has already spent more money during the 2009 fiscal year ($3.0 trillion) than the country did during any other year in history and there are still 2 months yet to go. The 5 largest monthly deficits in US history have occurred during the current fiscal year, a 12-month period that began on 10/01/08 (source: Treasury Department).

BO is just a mule in horse harness. I can't believe he was elected president, he was only a greenhorn senator from an infamouly corrupt city. I'm beginning to think he's a puppet president. He may sound like a great speaker with a teleprompter but he sounds horrible when being extemporaneous.

I have been laying low because I am disgusted. The double standard (libs can protest, conservatives are nazis), the cries of "I inherited it!", the racism, the non-stop spending, the LIES! At least people are finally seeing what happens when the inmates are running the asylum.

How much did we waste on this bullshit war? I didn't vote for that either but we got it anyway. Bush was no better. At least we are trying to fix the crap we are in now. I just want this country back on it's feet. I want this country to recover and be great. I want this ountry to be someplace we can all be proud of again. I want this country to be a place that is respected, not feared. I want this country to be a place where we can help our fellow man and woman and child live a decent life.
If you think our current administartion can do that overnight you have never helped someone dig their house out after it has been flooded by a river. It takes work. it takes hard work and effort and a lot of damn money. Not people standing on the sidelines with their hands in their pockests saying "you aren't doing it right."
That is my comment.

$902 billion and that's in 8 years. No where near the $4 trillion Obama has spent in only 1 year!

Obama did not create the mess our country is in he is trying to fix it. It takes more than a box of band aids...
