adopt and have arrangements with surrogates, the parents just can't be married to each other. So not letting gay/lesbian couples with children marry protects hetero families. But not letting gay/lesbian couples marry hurts the children of those couples. It boggles the mind.

Looks like your fine state was one of very few to vote even MORE Republican this year than it did in 2004. Tennessee is close, and so is Oklahoma, but I think Arkansas takes the cake. I have to believe a lot of that is racism, because really, why would you be MORE conservative after 4 years like the past 4 have been?
