But all it does for me is reaffirm that we are finally heading in the right direction as a nation. The quotes of Obama's that you object to are ones that give me confidence and faith.

As for Democrats being the party of intolerance, could we put aside all the "your group/party/team is this" accusations for once? I'm so tired of hearing that Republicans, Democrats, religious people, young people, old people, white people, black people, etc. are "this or that." For every example of hatred in each group, you can also find an example of true kindness. And vice versa. The higher the horse, the harder we fall.
