I think we have been playing pretty nice compared to last time (whew!).

I do wonder why we don't have IP addresses here, but I know there are a lot of people who don't feel comfortable posting personal opinions for fear of backlash, so it doesn't bother me - I have been the "victim" of anon comments a time or two myself.

I don't think any of us are bad people but we sure as hell are opinionated.

On the debate, once again I think who won depends on who you support.

I wish there was more direct interaction between the candidates. Last night didn't reveal anything particularly new, and both candidates seemed so "I'm giving a lecture" instead of conversational. Say what I will about Palin's speaking habits, but at least she makes things lively. I feel like I can go to Obama's or McCain's websites and learn what I'm learning from the debates. I want to see something different.

Sarah/Joe were fun to watch and more engaged.

Maybe it is a sign of the times, no one wants to go out on a limb. Don't really blame them - these days the press, shit, even the public, is there with cameras just hoping for a YouTube moment.

There is still one debate to go, we can hope for a good one. I wish they both would show the fire that we see on the news from their campaign speeches.
