Subject: I told y'all that Palin was bad for McCain.

She only appeals to the voters who were already planning to vote for McCain. Unfortunately now she's a liability instead of even being on the fence as an asset.

I was heartened by McCain's response over the weekend to the woman in his crowd who called Obama "an Arab," but unfortunately I don't think Palin will reverse direction at this point.

It's all so interesting to me because I have NO IDEA how I'd run a campaign if I had to. I get why they tried this negative spin, but in hindsight it sure wasn't the best decision.

It's pretty obvious he made a huge mistake chosing Palin which leads into questioning his judgement about *everything*.

Re: McCain's response, see my post above about 10,000 McCainiacs from The Daily Show. I realize McCain isn't quick on his feet but his response to the "he's an Arab" comment made it sound like being a decent family man and being an Arab are mutually exclusive. Naturally Jon Stewart and his show pounced on it.
