Subject: Susan Atkins, former member of the Manson Family wants mercy

She's got about 6 months to live and would like to be released from prison.

There wasn't much mercy shown at the crime scene that night in 1969. Susan Atkins was the one who slit Sharon Tate's throat and used her blood to write PIG on the wall. She admitted to telling Sharon Tate she didn't care for her or her baby as she slit her throat.

Her husband and attorney claims Susan Atkins has terminal brain cancera and had to have a leg amputated.

I think she should have to die in prison, I'm not sure she should be allowed the comfort of her loved ones. She brutally murdered four people; five if you count the baby. Thoughts?

I totally agree, Terry. She committed a brutal inhumane crime - Sharon Tate was very close to delivery and begged for her baby's life --- are we supposed to feel bad for this murderer?

I think dying alone, in prison, is what she EARNED when she joined up with Charlie. It is so much better than the fate of her victims. It's bad enough that taxpayers have had to pay for her upkeep and medical care for 40 years.

[> i watched the beverly hillbillies the other night -- jayjay, 02:11:21 06/18/08 Wed [1]

and i could have sworn i've seen Ms. Jane's secretary somewhere before so i imbded it.

Janet was played by Sharon Tate.

she was in black wig.

un-freakin-real.

it was an episode called Possum Parade.

the only soft spot i have n my heart for Susan Adkins is she was mass manipulated. And we all know how funky you can get when you're under control.

Let her out cause she's dying? Nah... I know she's sorry now cuz she cut people up into slivers... let her out? nah, i mean why does she deserve to lay on the beach to meet her death? I'm sure she's no longer a danger to society. Her victims didn't get that choice about where they wanted to die.

only she didn't murder anyone.

I can't believe we couldn't retro the Death Penalty for that waste of flesh...I don't care how manipulated you are, if my ex who had me 'brainwashed' had said, "kill" ... well, the world would have been better off if she'd killed Manson.

you don't just kill Messiahs.

You think with the arsenal in Waco if one of Koresh's girls had shot him?

before he built up an arsenal roughly the size of the Texas Army Reserves.

I think Charlie, like Koresh, and Warren Jeffs, and Tony Alamo, and name any cult leader, oh YEAH L. RON HUBBARD.. lol.. just had/have that power.

lezzsee, i'm thinking, the Family did get Death didn't they, then CA changed the law. and the Family didn't get *grandfathered* into the old law. These freaks are all still alive, miserable, wishing they'd never been born, and wishing they'd never met Charlie Manson.

Why they had the ability to retro his death, and didn't, I'll never know. I think life w/out parole is harsher, but then we gotta pay for his butt.
