the Britster could do worse. At least Madonna isn't wandering around (and worse, driving around) in a drunken/drugged haze. If she could get her back to a fitness regimen and off the drugs, then great. But I'm sure Madge would try and convert her to Kaballah along with all that guidance. And again, she could do worse. Your subject line made me think it was going to be some kick butt political rant. I'm so disappointed LOL!

Ya know, I think I saw a red string around Brit's wrist already...I'll bet Madonna's already indoctrin...er, introduced her to the ideology. ;)
I gotta say, I was so bummed to see she and Guy Ritchie having problems over "A-Rod"? They seemed like such a fairy tale ending...Like you always hear guys don't marry skanks...and she was quite the skank, in the name of art, for some time. lol He not only married her, he made a respectable 'mom' out of her. I wanted to think they were for keeps. I hear they are not filing, after all...but, who can say at this point? Isn't the damage done?

mess that is Britney did convert, she's not following policy very well LOL! And I don't even want to know about what goes on in the most private areas of people's private lives no matter how much the entertainment shows and mags and sites tell me I want to. What Madonna "studies" has nothing to do with the Jewish writings from which Kabbalah is taken, primarily the Zohar.
I think the most stomach churning thing I read was Madonna taking a 900-year-old copy of the Zohar and giving it to Brit Brit as a wedding gift. Sharp cookies, ain't they? Turning a 900-year-old tome into a coffee table book.
In Jewish tradition, they generally discourage people from studying Kabbalah until they've spent considerable time learning the basics of Judaism, the laws, the scripture, etc., because it's like learning advanced math when you haven't mastered 1 + 2 = 3.

was a news program (20/20, Dateline, Primetime, whatever) that interviewed some "religious leader" who has helped these celebs "learn" Kabbalah and then talked to actual rabbis and theology experts. The experts all said the same thing you did. Oh, and ITA with you about the book. Gives me the shudders thinking what that book has probably been through in Brit's care.

Britney was supremely naive and searching for some kind of help and guidance back then before the snit hit the fan. I think Madonna took advantage of that. I think Madonna sux.
