It is embarassing to me that she is supposed to be a "conservative" representative on that idiotic show. I really could not care less about the opinions of these self-important buffoons. Being in the movies or on tv does not make your opinion matter and I wish they would all shut up. Barry Manilow ---- what were you thinking? Refusing to perform because of her is lame. As for those who go too far - i.e. Sean Penn down in Venezuela - I wouldn't spend a dime of my money on any product of his.

The more I hear and see of these people, the more I scratch my head. Why would Sally Field think I care about her opinions on motherhood, the war, or anything else? It is all about the egos.

And yeah - James Brolin ---- wtf was up with that? Even he can't be that stupid, can he?

I really don't have an opinion on her specifically, don't get much chance to see daytime TV but as for celebrities and politics here is my little story: I am a life long Bruce Springsteen fan, I have every album he has recorded, I have been to as many concerts as I could get tickets (around here its really really hard to get tickets to his shows) but during the last presidential election he came to town and we went and we were so disappointed in him, he spent half his time on stage preaching his politics to the crowd. I did not spend my hard earned money to hear what billionaire Bruce thinks about the state of the country. He didn't just give an one opinion and go back to the concert, he was relentless about it,and it seemed to not have occurred to him that maybe some in the audience didn't exactly agree with everything he was saying. I went home with a bad taste in my mouth and I have not attempted to attend another concert of his since then. Its a truly a shame I think.
