i was LUCKY to have been born of the female gender when my lottery birthday number came up..... i was 19 years old and if i'd been a male i would be on a plane to saigon yesterday.

my dad bless his heart was Air Force. a pilot and Engineer. i guess i just come from a long line of wimps because Daddy flunked out of WWII. he told his commander to basically fuck off.. oops. Honorable discharge serving his country by excavating bauxite in arkansas for the war effort.

denny i cannot tell you how much i truly admire the men and women giving their life's work for our country.

i just cannot imagine wanting my child to go risk his/her life in iraq. i mean i can't see any positive from it, other that what you just taught me about bonding. i just can't see any positive in what lil Bush and lil Karl could have possibly been thinking. My airport isn't any safer.

the American Civil War (or as we southernerds call it the War Between the States) didn't last this long.
