You have reasons and you can articulate them.

You are, unfortunately, in the minority. The majority of Hillary haters can't or won't say why they hate her, they just do.

That being said, I don't have a problem with the president being unemotional or "cold". And I have always respected Hillary Clinton, even during the Lewinsky affair. I could not have put my personal feelings aside in that situation the way she obviously did.

I have listened to Obama but have not had the chance to see him in person. I don't dislike his politics but I don't think the hateful rednecks in this country are any more ready for a black man in the white house than they are ready for a woman. Either of these brilliant people will be targeted for who they are if they are elected.

It is a sad state of affairs but it is what we are - a nation of bigots and misogynists.

Lesson learned: don't type when you have a few glasses of wine in you.

1. My girlfriend worked for the DCCC, not the DNC.

2. We moved in 2004, not 2008.

Sadly, I agree that there are still too many bigots and misogynists. The only thing we can do is to stay aware and to stay active. It doesn't have to be this way forever.
