The ebonite mogul noted precisely the way Sins had moved during his first attack, not quite what he had expected, but Caifan liked surprises. He watched quietly as harridan arose from the earthy ground and noted the manner in which she held her front, left appendage. Once again, he smiled; knowing that he had caused her some damage almost gave him a warm, fuzzy feeling inside. But enough of the mushy talk, it was time to get back to business. Better start praying to your non-existent Black Magic Gods m’dear, for in this world, I am God. He relaxed for a brief moment before placing himself back into position, ready for her first assault. Sure she wasn’t a dumb creature and Caifan had to be ready for what ever she was going to pull out of the bag.

Sentinels perked forward to hear the snarl which came from the czaress, but Ciafan wasn’t intimidated at all. My, my, aren’t we just a wee bit touchy? But then came the words and he couldn’t help but chuckle to himself. Big boy? No one had ever addressed him like that before. Sure, they were in the midst of a battle, and although he didn’t really show it, Caifan had grown respect for his opponent. If anything she was probably the type that he would associate with outside of the battle arena. Then again, perhaps she wouldn’t like the plans that he would be implementing once he became the leader of the darker wolves.

Sun touched chasms, surrounded by their ominous cloak of pure sable watched as Deadly Sins then took flight, using the same canine speed that he himself had done so before hand. He was ready, every muscle in his large physique tensed as she drew closer, but he was going to wait for the right moment. His pallet was still held low, protecting his vulnerable chest area.

Caifan watched as the distance quickly closed between the two, anticipating the right moment to come. Then it finally did, once the dryad was within roughly a metre from him, the incubus threw his bulk to the left and saw her fangs snap just where his crowns had been only seconds earlier. He winced only slightly as he felt her claws rake across his right shoulder. It was a good scratch, not quite enough to draw blood, but enough to see raw flesh, that’s if you shaved him of course. He remained still, and watched as she backed away from him. Slowly the caliph turned his gaze to his slightly raw shoulder, and uttered a soft sigh before looking back at her.

So now it was his turn again, and while Deadly Sins was busy making her charge, he had already thought of his next move. Slender, muscled pinions propelled the gladiator into movement, with lightning fast speed he charged directly towards the wench, but at the last second, pulled to the left and ran a short distance past her. Using his sharp claws, and the bristled hairs underneath his padded feet, he manoeuvred a quick 180 degree turn. Caifan moved once again with speed, pearly dentals unsheathed as he attempted to lock down upon the soft, fleshy area around he femur bone. But he was going to be smart about this. Such a bold move demanded that he had some brain power. He raised his inky scythes, aiming along side his bite. This was also a precaution in case she quickly turned around before his fangs had the chance to pierce the meat.

With his latest move now over, he quickly backed up, but not quite as fast as he usually moved. Sure, he may have stamina, but he had to conserve some of it. After all, he had another two of her moves to survive, and he couldn’t afford at all to get slack, especially when it meant the possibility of him losing. Caifan put the distance between the two once again and gave the scratch a quick disinfection with his tongue before looking back to the inamorata.
