I have had the opportunity to watch a teacher use multiple intelligence in his classroom. I was completely overwhelmed but the students really seemed to have gotten the instruction for the day as well as wanted more. The students were all from inner city, low income neighborhoods. Their ages ranged from 7 to 18.

It was most amazing how the instructor drew in the trouble makers (hecklers) who sat in the back. By the end of the class they were asking and answering questions.

The instructor covered math, english, science, foreign language, history, art, sports and sociology. The textbook was a dictionary. Absolutely amazing.

I think there are only a few people in the world who have such an art for teaching. I know I could never accomplish in a school year what he was able to cover in a few hours.
