Carolyn, I really enjoyed reading your post and you are absolutely right. You really put some realistic thought in your post and I truly can relate. Our children today are so overwhelmed with so many issues in society that often times they are not taught how to utlize their problem solving skills and their cognitive development isn't balanced at all. Our children today really do not know how to "survive" like many of us that were born in the 20th century. The media has taken over our children's minds and instead of picking up a book to read, they rather listen to hip hop or watch videos and even play Xbox360/Playstation 3...and because of this we are beginning to raise a "lazy" generation..
