1. Yes, I beleive it was because he was gone for two years before he popped back up playing guitar. Therefore during those two years he was prob playing every day getting better. Aslo who beleives that you can sell or even make contact with the devil. Have you personally ever seen this happen?

2.Hoodoo is bad luck or someone who brings bad luck. This fit into Robert Johnson's music because he used words that were mythical and words from maybe back in slavery time. He also liked talking about the devil and things that represented bad things. Also in the Hoodoo was in the same group as the corssroads when they were talked about in the blues.

3.I dont think this tale is a metaphor for all musicians however some of the ideas are close. I think that every musicians wants to be great and works their hardest to get there. However it is not safe to say that every single one of them would "sell their soul to become great". There would be some out there that would but i think there would also still be some that wouldn't and would value other things not just their music.

4.What I would wait at the corssroads for would be to meet and spend time with the people i have lost in my life. I have many friends that our gone that i wont see again and also grandparents that i would want to still talk to and meet with.
