1. Yes because he sacrificed his soul to become a guitar guru.
2. Hoodoo is a magical and spiritual practice much like voodoo and it fits into his music because he was influenced by this belief as it was part of African American culture.
3. I do not think that this story is relavent to all musicians. They all have to make sacrifices to put out their music, but that does not mean that they will be successful. They might put out an album, but it could be the worst thing ever.
4. I would wait at the crossroads for eternal happiness or some other good thing in a fortune cookie.
