Re: NEA Football: The race for 2nd place! -- Sean, 17:11:00 10/21/07 Sun [1]
Here are the results of the pre-season number draw for ties in the NEA.
"Just like last year, District 7 decided not to play anything off unless it was between #4 and #5 for play off implications.
The top 4 are set. The order of teams are unknown until Thursday night.
Before the season began, the NEA drew numbers in case of ties between 1-3.
Here are the numbers."
1 - Lakeside
2 - Newport
3 - Freeman
4 - Kettle Falls
5 - Chewelah
6 - Colfax

Not me---Preparing for and playing a "mini-game", and then having a short week to prepare for a loser out game puts you at a huge disadvantage. Home field advantage is not that big of a deal. Look at last years x-overs. Only one home team, Okanagon, won.
