Subject: CTL Football: playoff senarios

Here are the Caribou Trail League's possible playoff senarios.

Senario #1: Cashmere is the #1 seed with a win over Brewster.
Records: Cashmere 7-0, Brewster 5-2.
~Brewster would finish as the 3rd crossover seed even if Cascade lost to Okanogan since Cascade won the regular season meeiting.

Senario #2: Cascade and Brewster could possibly get the #1 seed if there is a three-way tie for first, and then either one of them win a Kansas City tiebreaker. Though a possibility, this is not likely.

Senario #3: Cascade is the #2 seed if they lose to Okanogan and Brewster loses to Cashmere.
Records: Cascade 5-2, Brewster 5-2.
~Cascade won the regular season meeting, 44-0.

Senario #4: Cascade is the #3 seed if they lose to Okanogan and Brewster beats Cashmere.
Records: #1 Brewster 6-1, #2 Cashmere 6-1, #3 Cascade 5-2.
~This is not likely to happen.

Senario #5: Tonasket is the #4 crossover seed with a win over Lake Roosevelt.
~Tonasket controls its own destiny.

Senario #6: The winner of the Omak-Chelan game could be the #4 seed if Tonasket loses to Lake Roosevelt and then winning a tiebreaker with Tonasket on Tuesday, October 30.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but #6 won't happen because Tonasket beat both Chelan and Omak..

I believe the CTL will always playoff the last playoff berth. I could be wrong but even in a situation like that. I am waiting on an email from an athletic director to confirm or deny this. When I hear I will post it.

You are correct, Fly Guy! Tonasket will be the #4 seed and face NEA league champion Lakeside. Who will you be rooting for in this one, Fly Guy?
