  USA BEAUTIES PAGEANT set for March the 28 in Huntingdon has been rescheduled to March 15 in Parsons. Deen really hates having to change the date and location but as you all know Leon has had many health issues lately and has to have yet another surgery and this surgery date and the pageant date are conflicting with one another. Leon's surgery date is set for March 26 which is 2 days before the pageant was set. Deen would rather change the location and date instead of canceling the pageant all together. If you plan on attending the pageant please give Deen a call or email and let her know. Please continue to keep Leon in your thoughts and prayers.

  Rayz of HOPE (Helping Others through Pageantry Excellence) Photo Contest and Memory Walk -- Darla, 22:39:35 09/30/08 Tue [1]
  Hey everyone, the deadline is here for the Rayz of HOPE Fundraiser Photo Contest.
  
  All proceeds will be donated to the Alzheimer's Association.
  
  We have wonderful prizes, fees off upcoming pageants as well as a $100 cash prize if we get a minimum of eleven contestants.
  
  I am extending the deadline through Thursday October 2nd to get your entries in. We only need three more contestants to prevent having to pro-rate the prize money.

  I am wondering why after America Fabulous Faces no one really said anything about the director for the things that went on there?
  I have to say this is the most expensive pageant system we have ever done, from the travel, to hotel and entry fees.
  This is no comparing this pageant with only 2 stage events beauty and swimwear and the cost to any other pageant.
  And what about the prizes?
  Did anyone else have a problem with those dam buttons for winning events (a national prizes? that’s laughable)
  and then runner-ups got the same prize just alternate written on them. (the same prize lol)
  How can a director advertise a national prize, at the basic cost to you $50 to enter and give you a $1 button for wining,
  oh and if you did not win don’t worry you still got the same prize, as the winner!
  And if you enter additional photos it would have been $25 each more for the same $1 button.
  And where are our Sashes? The director had over a year to get them made he knew he was doing another pageant,
  then gave some story how the vendor did not get them done.
  But I talked to the vendor and she said he asked he to make them Saturday night, never before.
  I know this director is not new but what is with him giving the bigger crowns to the overalls when beauty was a higher title?
  Also where are our plaques? He can’t really be thinking those cheap ass bags with the photos that fell off are a replacement?
  I also thought it was strange all the coaches and other pageant directors kept going up to him conferencing during competition,
  The biggest kicker was when the director approached DB when one of her students left the stage and said WOW, she is going to be hard to beat.
  My child was in the next group so I was a bit put off by this, and YES that kid he was talking about WON a BIG title. IMHO she did not have the WOW factor at all!
  I heard from several people after the pageant that he is in financial trouble, but that does not mean he can advertise one thing and give
  cheap things away. He is trying to sell America’s Fabulous Faces, good luck with that as a business stand point you will be buying all his debit too, and there is plenty.

  The National Director was bashed alot on the pink board right after the National pageant. I was warned not to go and was sooooo glad we didnt go, a friend of ours went and got a button too for winning something, I mean really what a slap in the face for the fees you have to pay to enter, not to mention the expensive resort it is held at. If the director is having financial problems, he shouldnt have held the pageant, ripping off everyone like that, he made a killing, taking in all those fees and giving out dollar crap. TN didnt even have a State pageant this year, when it was advertised that it would. I would so enjoy going to a National pageant and just having to do Beauty and Swimwear, alot less stress and more time for the girls to play but at those prices they charge, I couldnt live with myself afterwards, even if we did win. I love the concept of the pageant, FACIAL Beauty, and thought it would be a prestigious title to win, but seeing how ALOT of people got ripped off, Im glad we went to another pageant instead.

  I wonder if her dirty little secrets will all be there and get a big title while they’re at it.
  You know the ones she is coaching and collecting from but wont admit she knows them.
  We all know T.S. and M.B. will knock down the doors to go along with the rest of the not chosen ones. This would be M.K., K.N., B.F., B.S., and H.B.
  If any of you are smart you’ll stay away from them.
  I have done A.S. and T.S. and what one doesn’t think up the other one will. I’m very surprised T.S. doesn’t try and drag her little favorites with her. LOL.
  But K.P. and D.B. just know that they won’t get shit because they won’t coach with A.S.
  With all this being said spare your D.D’s and stay home you’ll save money and time. I should know I’ve been out a bundle of money on one and you know who you are

  This is the most rediculous thing I have ever heard. AS runs the most honest pageant system out there. When are you gonna stop trying to predict her winners? You do it everytime she has a pageant. You say she will trade wins with this one or that one and so and so will win, and you are always wrong. ALWAYS! AS don't pick her winners, the judges do. I am sick of you all bashing her. If you only knew her, the real person. She is so sweet and kind. She will give anyone the shirt off of her back and I have literally seen her give and give and get nothing but screwed in return. People are always taking advantage of her because she is so nice. AS will someday have the most successful pageant in the business because she doesn't play games. If any of these girls win it will be because they are beautiful, they have worked hard and are very deserving. So back off AS and stop trying to bring her down.

I didn't hear from any other director, and my DD had been in many other pageants. My DD was grand supreme royalty for one national system and I never heard anything from that director. We don't get to enter a lot of her pageants because my DD is in cheerleading but I have say AS is very nice. She was at pageantfest and she came up to me and asked how me & my family were doing. My DD had not been to any of her recent pageants so she didn't have to say anything to us. I passed several other directors at the pageant and she was the only one that spoke. Also when my DD won her national we had never met her and we didn't know anything about her pageants. We have friends that go to several of her nationals and they all have a great time.   MN lives on the boards bashing who can can. She bashed MS and did alot of bashing of BD. Don't let MN fool you. Everyone at pageantfest heard how TS used someone else for BS for h/m. MN was upset about it and discussed it with many people. She also said that TS had booked with her at pageantfest. Don't forget about MN knowing the judges sitting at pageantfest. This was posted on all the pink boards and the judges told that MN got the judges for pageant fest. Don't forget about the same lady that judged for BN judged for MF national and other local pageants. MN has been telling the wrong people and know it is posted. Many in the group was told not to attend TS pageant because of this. MN should have called TS if she had a problem instead of bashing her.

  A lady went in her shop and told that she was talking about kids. How can this lady do that. I have gave this lady money to find out she said my child would never win. I used this lady at pageant fest and was told by the judges the reason my child didn't win was because her h/m looked like a mop. Just a warning to people that think you know MN she will talk about your kid. Also, told she talked about several winners at pageant fest and BN.

  Just for the record, Pageantfest is one word. Now, who ever went into her shop and came and told you this is just as guilty as MN of talking about children or they would have said something to her and left and they must be a BIG two faced person or they would not have told you all this BS. Now as for your child not winning because of h/m I guess any excuse is better than none. Why do people always blame the h/m people. Alot of the children MN done won at Pageantfest and I talk to her alot and I never heard her say anything about BN or the pageant. So, the next time keep your money and take you dd somewhere else I am sure MN will no lose any sleep over it.......

  It's time for A.S to have her My Chance Novice Pageant LOL.
  Yes the great M.C. the fabulous coach and yes the know it all tell all is right on the ball!!
  I wonder if her dirty little secrets will all be there and get a big title while they’re at it.
  You know the ones she is coaching and collecting from but wont admit she knows them.
  We all know T.S. and M.B. will knock down the doors to go along with the rest of the not chosen ones. This would be M.K., K.N., B.F., B.S., and H.B.
  If any of you are smart you’ll stay away from them.
  I have done A.S. and T.S. and what one doesn’t think up the other one will. I’m very surprised T.S. doesn’t try and drag her little favorites with her. LOL.
  But K.P. and D.B. just know that they won’t get shit because they won’t coach with A.S.
  With all this being said spare your D.D’s and stay home you’ll save money and time. I should know I’ve been out a bundle of money on one and you know who you are

  What is the draw to Faces? I was so disappointed in every aspect of this pageant from start to end. It was in a tent and you had to walk through the H/M people to get to line up. Very rarely saw Troy especially during crowning, he left the pageant and was no where to be found. He had his state directors giving out money and was told he left the resort. What type of director does this? He did the skit for the ultimate and then disappeared the rest of the time. The crowns were cheap. And I mean CHEAP. And they didn't make sense. Why were highter titles given smaller crowns? And why was the money not awarded on stage? We paid you in cash? Why didn't you pay out in cash? And why were there no banners? You didn't even know what the kids won. No title banners of anykind and no explanation. This pageant is close to a cattle call. You walk out and have 45 seconds. Oh but you had to stand in line up for the 30 minutes first for the judges to walk by and look at you like you were a line of dogs! They gave out buttons...YES buttons for side awards. The bags they gave were a joke. Terrable quality. Couldn't even see the picture that was screen printed on the front and they stuck a photo on the back. Don't get it? Hello can someone help me here? The pictures are not going to stay on the bags? Is that so you didn't have to give out plaques? Very strange. And if you had 200+ kids there why didn't you give more out? Is it because you are in this for yourself? Fill you pockets? What about the kids? Someone please explain to me why this is acceptable????????????????????????????????????????

The last two years I have read several comments from unhappy parents. The travel & hotel fees along are high.   Billy Newson has a pageant an wants to charge $145 an gives out awesome crowns, gifts an free food an you guys act like its a million dollars. So what gives. Pageant Fest does more for the kids than any pageant I know. Heck he took his returning royalty to Country Tonight in a Limo an then had a free dinner buffet for them an then each of them got gifts on crowning day. Who does this? Hmmm, Who.   If your dd was in the group that had bicycles then everyone in that group got a bicycle. Not just the queen but everyone in the group. In every group every child received the same gifts. It was great.

  Dont start that mess, just because your precious national dd didnt win one of the titles, Most of the winners HAVE won national titles. Just because some of them dont go every weekend does not mean they are not national level girls. The results were right on at pageant fest so just stay home next year and we wont miss you.

  we are not mad that tb didnt win at either pageant. And about the win at Cover Miss, you are out of your mind if you think tb was giving that title. Every girl had the same chance to win at that pageant. The directors are very fair and would not cheat even if somebody wanted them to. If it is any of your business the only complaint we have about FF is that it cost to much. We are happy about the winners at both pageants and never come on here and talk about pageants or the winners. Now to the person that said that it was us, you sure are big hiding behind that computer if you have something to say come to my face and say it.   Was at PF past two years. Yes, it did have national level competitors both years, and they were experienced and beautiful chldren. True there were equal numbers of 'newbies' there too. That is what makes it so great! It gives some of the new faces a chance to compete with the best and to see if they want to move on to a higher level. Believe me, there were some new children there this past year that could run with any of the name children on the national circuit if given the time/experience, coaching & the opportunity. I just don't understand why every comment on this board turns on someone, as I figure this one will on me. Maybe it will give someone else a rest.
