My sympathy to you, got caught the same way last year, see my Bernie the Bolt posting below. I paid a deposit only, refused to pay the rest. Wrote the deposit off, ignored all threatening letters and phone calls, and CPO gave up on it. Understand they never take anyone to Court, because they'd lose. They are downright liars and thieves.

Suggest you cancel any future payments with you credit card company, and inform CPO forwith you are cancelling the agreement because it was obtained by fraud. Whether you will recover the deposit is another matter, might not be worth the hassle.
