I too am withholding maintenance, because it has been set at the incorrect level for many years. It is only supposed to rise by a certain percentage, which it exceeded a number of times back in the late eighties and early nineties. Despite lower increases in percentage terms in recent years, the earlier hikes have made maintenance fees incorrect. So, today, the maintenance fees are too high , so it is inappropriate for anyone to pay maintenance fees until everyone has been compensated for overpayments in the 1990s.

Petchey will write/threaten , but if you stand your groud you have the law on your side.
