 We bought in 1989 and for many years were very happy with our timeshare. However having also bought perpetuity rights timeshare has changed. It is now expensive (maintenance was about £60 for two weeks it is now nearly £800). We can't exchange as we used to because we have fixed time. We wanted to sell, and couldn't, so we decided to stop paying maintenance. We got all sorts of threats. We were worried so paid up - and had to pay an additional charge for "administration". We then tried giving it back to them - they are not interested. Therefore you can't sell it, you can't stop paying and you can't give it back. Surely this cannot be legal?
