In the absence of malice there is still room for distortion and confusion.
We are all only human, so far from perfect, and often wrong in our
assumptions and frail conclusions. If only we could step outside of
ourselves more often and realize that for every conviction we have
placed towards another person we have most likely been guilty of
one ourselves. We don't know how our actions affect people at times
because not everyone wants to discuss things that are uncomfortable.

I learned something this week. I learned that really good people can
be shallow and trite. I've known for quite some time that speaking my
mind doesn't always bring the desired results. I'm not at all concerned
with that. It's still better than distorting truth, playing a phonies game,
or trying to mask your real intentions.

You see, in the end, late at night, we are left with ourselves. I'm not
one for tossing and turning over issues I could have expressed and
communicated with someone.

There are those times when I speak my mind and then feel like the response
I receive isn't worthy of a further attempt at resolving the issue.

It's fine to say goodbye. So long as you know in your heart that you
carry no bad will and wish the best for those you leave behind.

Life is about choices and my choices are about spending my time
in environments where I feel like my soul sings. It really is as simple
as that. If something or someone brings you down and you can see
right through them or it then do yourself a favor and move on.

But, do so with a smile and forgive before you start to forget.

Good people can and often do mess up.

I do it all the time! You can call me on it too. I don't mind apologizing
because it sets me free.

Did I mention lately that you make me smile? Well, you do. And these days that have been swirling so quickly that I'm caught up in the motion (which, even though it's all going in the right direction can be very tiring) I am so thankful for every smile, every kindness, every revalation of new truth, every ounce of gained knowledge.... So, thank you, Andy. Love you.
