Yep..woke up at 3:30 to the sound of snow plows going by every 15 minutes to clear the street on which I live. Being a main road, it gets alot of attention.

So up out of bed I went, to make a pot of coffee after a half hour of trying to ignore the rumble outside. Thought to myself, yep..they said it was going to snow, I wonder how much fell!

Looked out my window and went "Holy shit, it's beginning to look alot like Christmas!" A foot and half has fallen already and all the school boards have shut down for the day, so we get our first official snow day of the year! Yay

But, seriously, I love walking in the snow, when it's not blowing like a blizzard, but falling nicely to the ground in soft little spheres of glittery white. Come home, make some hot cocoa with the kids and if I had my way, I'd have a fireplace to sit in front of and make popcorn and watch a movie all snuggled up.

But in any event, we can't go for a walk, it's blowing cold, and we have no hot cocoa, because dumb ass didn't go and get the groceries yesterday as planned, and living in an apartment, means no fireplace. So much for warm and fuzzy thoughts! LOL

Someone want to adopt me for our snow day??? LOL LOL

Catch you all later...I do believe it's nap time! LOL

Later all...

Hugs and love,
Tammy

LOL Christine! LOL

Hey..I so know what you mean..back on January 6, 1998, I woke up to send the kids to school. First day back after the holidays to an ice heaven. It was pristine and beautiful in all its glory though.

I loved it and I was amazed by it. Still am to this day. I know it's not nice to deal with the freezing rain, but we were hit hard for about 3 weeks of it, and then some, before the power was restored. My house had no power for 3 weeks less a day, and lucky me got to go into labor and deliver my fifth child on day 7 of the storm. LOL

But, I will always remember the adventures we had during that time. I look outside my window now and it's up to about 2 feet of snow, and its still coming down!

I wonder if we will have a second snow day?? LOL

In any event, I do understand how you feel though. Sending warm hugs your way.

Love ya,
Tammy

Tammers,

Screw all that dumb stuff!

Let's have a rowdy snowball fight.

If I get up on one of these Adirondack mountains
high enough I could probably hit you in the chest
from here.

Wink!

Good stuff Tamerinski

Good stuff!

Tammers,

Cute! Cute and funny but, you don't want to get
into a long distance snowball fight with me.

First of all I fight from the mountain and second
of all I have a very large baseball bat with which
to hit those snowballs your way.

My only fear is that a good shot may cause
a great rebound affect which could actually
cause my demise.

OK...Tammerinski is rolling up her sleeves here for a low down dirty snowball fight. You can't scare me!**Sticks tongue out**

Ok ok...so you've got a baseball bat BUT I've got a catcher's mit that is equally efficient! LOL

And yes...the rebound might knock you into the Jersey area!!! Hehehe Oh I love this! LOL

Aye Aye Capitaine! *Saluting*

Huggles and snuggles,
Tammy
