LOL We have this one teacher who royally has been irking the students off, and yes I said IRKing, not JERKing, just to be clear here LOL. He comes in one day and says, Yeah, we got funding and everyone of you students before Christmas holiday will be receiving their very own Adding Machine. Yay for us! NOT Today, he comes in and says, by the way, the course starts tomorrow and you will all need to purchase from us this wonderful adding machine. All for a low cost of 30$ each, which is better than the deals at the office supply shop here in town. You will be saving approx. 9$. By the way, you'll need one of these to take the exam at the end of this module. So, please go to the office, pay the 30$, to which they will issue a receipt, and then come to my office, and produce your copy of the receipt, to which I will then release one of these to you! WHAT A SELL JOB! Wait a fucking minute here!! Didn't you just tell us last month, we were getting them for free???? And, oh yeah by the way, the native students here have their supplies that are mandatory for the course already paid for. Hence, the little contract that we signed with our counsellor, that in turn paid you the bill for all incurred expenses under the fees titled, All Materials and Textbooks at the price of 295$. So what the fuck did we get for that money that was already paid out to you??? Hmmm...so six native students, including myself, went to see our representative in student services and inquired about this. The counsellor, said, hmm..I don't know, but what the hell did we pay for then? Let me call the office and get a run down on the items that were inclusive in that price. Come back at breaktime and I will let you know. Well, it turns out, they paid for three books that were not issued, only one was. And about 6 more text books that are still pending as the course continues. Now, we just finished our Excel module, to which we received the one text book and did our exam. So where's the two missing text books they paid for?? In fact, those of us that finished our excel book early were LENT the advanced book, to which we found out, was ALREADY purchased by the organization funding us. The school is ripping us off and the organization that is funding us. So they scam us, give us one book, keep the other two that is PAID for.... BUT, we had to return them?? So what's the deal, are we being ripped off?? I tell you, it's not the price it's the prinicipal of it all. This teacher has been a ball buster from day one! And now that we've raised a stink about it. The program director came to address the class, in that oh so diplomatic way they are trained to do. She informs us that since there was some complaints and concerns over the addiing machine, the machines will now be made available as a loan to each student, and returned at the end of each class day. Hmmm...somebody is covering their fucking asses!! He went and told the Program director and this is what we got! So, that means, now that they made it "available", they won't have to release it to us, but rather, they will lend it out during class time. Oh but by the way, you might want to purchase one of your own now, because really you'll need it for exam and homework. Fucking bullshit is what it is. We got Scammed, and our Sponsors got scammed. Now, the school and our sponsor have to negotiate where their funding is and what it was used for. I bet the school, comes up with some excuse that covers their ass, but I guarantee, it does not end here! Ok..I'm done venting, and I really am not looking forward to the next month and a half with this idiot asshole teacher. He is in his last year before retirement, and it looks like, he's going to remember this year as the worse year of his career, because the girls in the class, will not back down.
