Spark to Fire



Feel the moon
whisper our veins
as the night
sings its desire


'til we feel
the rain's approval
as we raise
our spark to fire


and we taste
the kiss of midnight
for its liquid
pools of light


for the long
of lovers draping
as the lyrics
fall as night


with the rhythm
of our heartbeat
comes the heat, that
pours our flame


time, the ever
passing stranger
blessed the wind
that speaks our name
