I cant help feeling the way I do, I have a feeling of a lose that cant be filled. I'm trying not to, well cry. I always wanted to meet Landon, and every once in a while I get well overwhelmed. I think in one aspect it would be helpful if I ever got to talk to someone who meet him or well knew him. And I mean talked to him, and really know him. I asked David Dortort if I could write a bonanza story, and he said ya. I'm writing it, and it’s almost in the third or forth stage. Scripts are so easy, stories are harder. Now I would like to clarify something, the crying I'm doing is not the loss, but the missing, as in I never got to meet him sort of feeling. It’s hard to say how I feel, because well he was like a father figure to me. I just whish I was smarter and not such a chicken when I was in la, but then again would they have let me in. I know this is the second time, I wrote something. But the forlorn feeling is making me cry, so I may not be making any sense. But dadgumit I wish I could talk to someone who know him, I wish someone that know him would contact me. I have been watching bonanza, but watching High way to heaven is getting harder. Because I wish I could have meet him, so I gesso all I have is a dream. I was hoping someone who knew him, or was close to him would read one of these and contacted me. I'm sorta glad that you don't know how long its taking me, to type this up. The tough feelings of being lost and incomplete and forlorn are overwhelming and I do miss him. I like TV shows because he will always be around, in one way if not the other. If I may say this with out hearting anyone, I do talk to him. I know he cant hear me but it helps me in a way to get bye. I’m going to say something, that sound a little weird. I have a par of sneakers, and when I ware them I feel him near by so I ware them allot. I know, weird ha. When I'm scard and in dought i lift my head up and shout, Landon where are you. God how I wish I could have meet him, now with loss and forlorn. I'm sorry its so long, but I have to get my fealing out before I cry a river of tears after all If it turns in to a lake I'm in allot of trouble I can swim. Landon I do miss you, and that is no lie. I gess thats all for now, I so much wish I could have had the good fortune to meet him. If you knew him talk to me.

I've loved Michael Landon ever since I started watching Bonanza five years ago, he's my all time favorite actor, I LOVE him, when I found out he died, I balled my eyes out, I was so mad, I watch Bonanza, and Highway to Heaven everyday, I love him, and think he's the best actor ever, plus he's hot, and I just love him.

you can watch little house from 10am-12pm easteren time on the hallmark channel and i am not sure yet but there was a posting a tvland message board that possibly highway to heaven is coming in january sometime to tvland. i was born in 1982 so basically i seen little house as reruns but is a wonderful show, michael is/was a wonderful actor. the thing the shows taught, the morals and things. i am a born again christan. and highway to heaven was a wonderful show to so if i find out for sure if it is that is going to be on tvland i will comeback and post the time.

i wish i was old enough to notice michael when he was still here... i love him in little house on the priarie... i watch it everyday, 8:00 on cmt... i didn't know he was gone... until i watched a biography of melissa gilbert (laura ingalls) yesterday... she said she was very close to michael, and the last time she saw him, she said they both knew it would be the last time... i want to meet him, but i can't.. that would be my only wish... in highway to heaven... i cried.. is it not coincidence that, after "highway to heaven" he actually did leave this earth, and join heaven not too long afterwards..

I have to be honest here, michael landon was important to me while I was growing up and still is. I did not have a father, so landon became like a father figure for me. I always wanted to meet him, I did get to write him a letter though. And in it i told him about my nick name (little Joe), he did send me a autographed photo which i lost in a fire in 1993. I wanted to contact some one in his famly when i found out he was gone, but did not know how. I still would like too. Its still hard for me to watch little house and high way to heaven, I hope someday i can without crying but for know bonanza is the only one i can. I like haring all the storys that happond during the filming of bonanza, i wish some one would wright a book on that. Because the more i find the more i want to know. its hard writing this, because i wish i could have told him how important he was and still is to me. Thank you Susan again for the update on the episode " Forever!" I finally got to see it and it matches that weird dream I had too. Ever get wrapped up in a character so much that you forget that you're watching just a tv show? I did I taped it so I sat there watched it over again. I got to thinking of my brother...I cried along with Michael Landon. My mom could not under stand what I was crying about I just told her it was nothing. Thanks again for helping me out, Susan!

I don't if this would be the right place to write and ask this silly little question...but I've got to know one thing. Where was Little Joe burned at in the episode " Forever "? I know this sounds a bit weird but I haven't the chance to see this one and I found a web site that mentioned it. Reason I'm asking is because of a weird dream I had that just happen to have Michael Landon as Little Joe in it. I'm just curious and wanted to know where he had gotten' burned.
Oh and does anybody know where I might get a copy of that episode " Forever " at? I hadn't the chance to see it rerun on tvland or the hallmark channel yet and was wondering if anybody could help me out.

Oh and Little Joe always reminded me of my brother Matt, him being younger than me. I miss my brother too, he passed away on July 19, 1997 from epilepsy he was 25 years old. The character Little Joe seems to be my brother made over again.

I've been in love with Michael Landon ever since I saw "Bonanza" for the first time in the late 1960s, when I was about--oh, 4 years old; I first thought, "Wow, he's cute!". I know he's gone, but to me he's still alive in my heart and soul and I'll always carry a torch for him. He was, to me, the world's most nearly perfect human being--a face to die for, a body that just won't quit, a good daddy to his kids, and very talented. I was devastated upon hearing of his passing in 1991, but I also take comfort in the fact that he's watching us from Heaven and is full of love for the world he contributed much to and, ultimately, left behind.

I started watching Little House on the Prairie in 1974 when I was 12 years old. I have all the episodes on VHS and am now starting to collect the DVD versions. What can I say about this show. It had and still has such an impact on my life. I still cry when I watch these episodes, my children also love watching this show with me. He was truly one of the greatest actors of our time and, in my opinion, are no television shows like Little House. The episode where Mary goes blind and when Laura gets married still captures me every time I watch them. I still get teary eyed when I think that Michael Landon is gone. He was a great man and set a wonderful standard for television watching.

I have traced the Highway to Heaven series to Columbia House. They own the series but I cannot get any feedback as to when they are going to make the series available.
I am willing to share what I have recorded off of the TV. By my calculations, $35 per tape is a fair price. I am using $10 as an estimated shipping price. The price can rise or fall depending upon cost of shipping. The $35 dollars includes shipping and about 6 hours of shows.

Hi , there to everyone who, during your childhood wathced "Little house on the praire". I was so blessed by wathcing those series when I was younger. When I was younger it really did affect the way I saw family, and the live God wants us to live. At the age of twenty five I received a new life with Jesus Christ and I am convinced that God really did use Michael Landon and his crew to influence us all in this wicked world we live in. Just think about how beautiful live could be if everyone would live their lives with good intentions and "Gods way". Although I've never met the man, Michael has always seemed the gentleman. He was a brilliant actor, as well as, director. I loved watching him in Little House as Charles Ingalls. I guess that's my all time favorite character of his, other than Little Joe on Bonaza. I've always thought he was so good looking, I can see why Cindy married him.
But, he was more than good looking, he was a kind, gentle man, who devoted himself to his famiy and career. He'll never be forgotten. His memory will live on through his family and his films. Peace be with you, Michael.
