Subject: This weekend (Durand Tourney)

For those that are new to our wrestling club this year, SCYW started out as Swartz Creek/Durand wrestling club some 25+ yrs ago. We have a long history of supporting each other even after the split. I encourage EVERYONE to attend the Durand tourney this weekend. Durand allows us to do a potluck at their tourney and are big supporters of all of our tourneys. Please get with Angie about signing up to bring something to this tourney. For the novice parents concerned about their child wrestling in open, this is a chance for your child to learn from watching and wrestling more advanced kids. We had several Novice wrestlers place at this tourney last year. It's all a learning experience and your child will get to see what they will be wrestling like with a little hard work.
