Subject: Rhodesia and Ian Smith

Ian Smith was a great man with courage and vision. He was so correct in his assessment of what would befall his beloved country of Rhodesia if so forced by the Brits to hand over the reigns of government totally and completely all at once to people inexperienced in all but terror. Unfortunately it came to pass and the politically correct crusaders who forced it have not only egg on their idealistic but misguided faces, but also the harsh judgment of history. Ian Smith was correct, he was brave and he had guts even in the midst of overwhelming odds. Rhodesia was a great nation with success of historical proportions. A great land of fruit and honey in the midst of an ocean of death, self-destruction and nations whose rebellions were more corrupt than the governments they yearned to replace. Let that Rhodesian spirit live on in the hearts and the minds of all the expatriates scattered around the globe. Rhodesia may be gone, but it's spirit of success and heart don't have to be. So much of which to be proud
