Date Posted: 04:54:25 01/31/08 Thu Read this in the challenge room a couple of times and figured I would give it another go here this morning. Your pen is a paintbrush of many colors. I have to say Sash your poetic phrasing always seems to delight my senses even when you put the boots on. thanks, andy [ Post a Reply to This Message ] |

Date Posted: 16:54:50 01/31/08 Thu ~ thank you dear one, I'm stoked that you enjoyed this one if this wasn't a specific form, I would've been able to flesh it out a bit make it a little easier to understand...I'm still working on that, without losing too much of my poetic phrasing, although, with this one, I just went with it your visit to this piece is a blessing, hon...thank you *kiwi hugs* Sash xx . Date Posted: 08:29:39 01/31/08 Thu Hello Sasha Well now, there's some sultry going on along that shoreline, and I for one an enamoured by the delicate, tender waves of sensuality pouring from the flow. I'm swooning (is that something only ladies in 1950's musicals do?). Magical in name, truly magical in it's nature. Max [ Post a Reply to This Message ] |

Date Posted: 13:16:32 01/31/08 Thu Sash, Paulie is loving this for two very good reasons; First, you persuaded me to have a go at this challenge and I did my usual on it.I am thankful for the push,Second, You agonised, as usual, to get it right and came out with this stunning piece of work!! You are a wonder and no mistake!.... Peace. love and hugs, Paul. [ Post a Reply to This Message ] |

Date Posted: 17:06:54 01/31/08 Thu ~ Paulie, I think my agonizing sometimes is my downfall, instead of just writing the damn thing, ya know? lol I must admit this form almost did my head in, but I'm happy with the result for now..lol you know me, I'll no doubt re-visit it to tweak it here and there thank you for your support and encouragement, hon *kiwi hugs* Sash xx . Date Posted: 20:31:44 01/31/08 Thu This is truly gorgeous Sash, you did an awesome job on it i've only written one sonnet in my life and that was a long time ago but I know if I were to try and write another, I could never write it as beautiful as you do. You're amazing my friend. Love this much. Huggs Janel [ Post a Reply to This Message ] |

Date Posted: 05:02:43 02/01/08 Fri ~ ((((((((Janel)))))))) dear heart, I'm thrilled that you enjoyed this poem the Sonnet form can be a pain in the butt, but it's just a matter of practice I'm still practising...lol..still trying to get them right but one thing I do remember to bare in mind is something that Andz told me a couple of years ago when it comes to iambic pentameter, think of a heartbeat... I have found that the most useful piece of information, where Sonnets are concerned and of course I did that 'Sonnet a Day' challenge elsewhere, last year that really helped me a lot :) thank you for reading me, honeybunch *warm hugs* Sash xx . Date Posted: 15:53:56 02/01/08 Fri Sasha, I am (and I forgot how to undo the underlining, so rest assured, this is intentional!) I'm delighted my challenge produced such work from all of you, but this is amazing, delicate, exquisite. You have proved that you are the Sonnet Queen, be it Shakespearean or Italian. Brava!
