] Date Posted: 14:37:33 01/08/08 Tue What Inspires me Rain on a cloudless day unspoken words gesture birds pausing their song singing yet to hear senses almost feeling butterfly cloudy evenings sunset appear taste of apple grape and lilac smell of dirt splashed with warm rain breeze to cool heated land river speaking with fluid rhyme watching children bubbles fly soft breathing while wife slumbers sharing food with my family soaring hawks watch prey hunting heart of mine does rapid beating confronted with lover’s passion working hard peace keeping writing life as if it were poetry new born with mother closely colors splashing over vast fields blue red yellow multi-flowered freshly made for eyes to view granting life be left flowing passing serenity Storm and snow season changes promise something familiar seen my love of front porch life inspiration these things bring something simple.......
