I�m half empty
and half filled.

I believe, you are always like
a glass
either full to the brim,
or vacant

at times too sweet, tempting;
at times too harsh, rigid.

As for the rest of the world,
one- third is land,

with syrupiness and bitter taste
intermingled; the remaining
being water. Salty.

I consider myself
among the fortunate ones

one half replete with wine,

the other half
gazing impassively.
