*This poem comes from last spring, Sasha has asked me to post it here as many will not have seen it before, I hope you enjoy it....Paul x)

See them hanging ,
Crystal hearts in hollow ribs,
Reflecting the sadness of times lost,
As tears mist the facets,
A spectrum of emotions fall,
like rainbows of the soul,
Cold hues striking a note with me,
Why is blue so sad?
Where did all the purples and yellows go?
Is life really a one way street,
Or can we re-live the good times over,
I watch the crystal hearts,
Swinging in those hollow ribcages,
Feeling every searing ache,
The reflection looks familiar,
I recognise my features looking back at me,
Resonating in time with life,
When happiness held no boundaries,
And hearts beat free of pain,
In yesterdays light,

Paul,

This is rich in both its separation from
others almost to lonely and its message
that we all have so much in common.

Nice to read you out of the rhyme mode.
Although, I don't get tired of that either.

thanks,
andy

Andy,

This piece was written after I watched a funeral pass me by whilst out one day, the sorrow of those in the cars was so evident, that it drew me into their grief.

Thank you for taking the time with this one,

peace and hope,

Paul.

Hello Paul

Draped with such thoughs of sadness, your words evoke the passing, yet shine the crystals into the remembrance of a yesterday that smiled as the close.

Simply stunning.

Max

Max,

When a poet of your stature comes to comment and then leaves me with a smile, I realise all was not in vain.

Thank you my friend,

Peace,

Paul
