Subject: About La pageants click in Author: No name [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Date Posted: 12:00:28 07/13/08 Sun Ladies we are so blessed to have so many beautiful girls in our state to start with. We have some of the best directors right here in our own backyard, so why try to bring them down? Instead shouldn't you try to build them up so La could be the best state to compete in. If you think about it we have it all right here. Yes it's true you can't win them all but that's part of competeing. There will always be another pageant the next weekend so you go back and try again. I think you will find that most directors that have been directing for at least 5 years have earned their reputation for being honest directors. Newer directors will try hard they will just have to earn their just dues and in time will be known as honest directors also. Give all directors a chance just once. If you are not happy with the outcome then don't go back. As for directors cheating or fixing pageants I don't believe that happens, but if it does and you have seen it or witnessed it happen then and only then should you pass judgement on that director and the best way to handle it would be to confront her with what you saw"not heard" from someone. Pageants can be a fun time for both mother and daughter. Enjoy your time,make new friends and remember it's always the judges decisions not the directors on what the outcome will be. Now everyone needs to clear their heads and thank our directors for giving their time and efforts to having pageants for you to attend. You want your kid to beat their kids make them practice. You get what you pay for in modeling. Janie's pageants bring out the best competitors. Her students don't always win.
