Another great week at Jubilee Park.

Reserves;

The reserves were coming of a great away win last week against Maningham - and this week hosting Maningham at home they were looking to continue their winning streak. The lads got of to a fast and attacking pace, and were rewarded 15 minutes in when Stefan out paced there defence and chipped the ball over the helpless keeper 1-0.
The team was playing an exiting brand of soccer with every player giving there all. 10 minutes later they got there 2nd when Chris C sent in a deadly corner to find Jacek at the back post and head in his 2nd goal for the season.2-0
The boys were cruising along - and then out of nothing Troy M was shown his second yellow card for kicking the ball away after the ref had blown his whistle for a foul, very soft decission. But this only spured the boys on and wanted to give Troy somthing to celebrate after the game - and they did that when they got there 3rd goal 10 minutes from the end of the half, It wasn't preaty but Rob S somehow found the back of the net after the Maningham's defence failed to clear the loose ball. Half time 3-0
Second half was going to be tough with a change in midfield and down to 10 men Ringwood were put to the test in the first 15 minutes and Maningham throw everything at Ringwood and were rewarded when Lester playing in goals gifted them a goal. 3-1
This only fired the lads up with the defence stating to take control and the midfield working extra hard gave the hard working Rob S who was playing as the sole striker got his second for the game and the the 4th for Ringwood. a magnificent performance by the lads. 4-1 win

SENIORS;
The boys were looking to take take all 3 points and go out rite clear on top of the ladder for the first time in a very long time, and with only 2 minutes on the clock the speedy Tox ran onto a loose ball only to see the ref point to the penalty spot after the keeper brought down Tox in the box. Up stepped the captain and Luke V Guilk made no mistake 1-0
With both teams playing a possession game there wasn't many chances - with not much time till half time Maningham found an equallizer when Ian M failed to punch a high ball away only to see it fall onto the strikers foot and he made no mistake and made it 1-1 at half time.
Second half started the same way with both teams finding it hard to break down the defence. With Ringwood chasing top spot Doug (coach) decided to make a change. On came the experienced Chris C and the speedy Rodrigo was pushed forward to support the other speedy striker Tox.
With only seconds on the park the ball fell onto Chris C trusty left foot and with one step send the ball curling into the top corner and sending the healthy croud into a frenzy. 2-1
That goal seemed to fire up the Ringwood boys and minutes later Tox pounced onto a long ball by Luke and from a difficult angle sent the ball into the top corner for his 8th for the season.3-1
With only minutes remaining Manningham had no answers for this classy outfield and somehow they manage to give away another penalty so up steps the captain to slot home from the penalty spot his 2nd and Ringwoods 4th. Magic work from everyone. WELL DONE TOP OF THE LADDER.
