Could it be Ringwood's 2nd title in 12 years.

only time will tell.

Lets start:
Reserves;
On the weekend the boys travelled up to Dandenong were upon arrival found out that they were going to play beach soccer on a ground that looked white and bare. And not to mention 50-60 klm winds.
The capt lost the toss and had to defend the first 45 minutes against the wind. With a quick restructure to game plans the boys settled pretty qiuckly and did most of the attacking. And on the 24th minute mark the break through came when Cam R worked his way down the touch line and send in a low cross to the near post only to see the clever Conor turn the ball into the net. 1-0 up
With plenty of chances and the defence working over time. The boys were relieved to hear the half time whisle.
Second half didn't start as planed and not long into the half the home team got an equalizer against the run of play. 1-1
As always the lads lifted and began to expose the home team in the strong wind. And got there reward when again Cam R found some room on the right to send in a croos who found Troy M who took control of the ball turned and placed it past the stretched keeper.2-1 up.
The third and final goal came from a team effort and a great strike from Robert S who caught the keeper napping and sent the ball sailing over his head. 3-1 win and well deserved...

SENIORS;
The boys new, conditions of the park and the strong winds that it wasn't going to be an easy day. But there was alot to play for, With Parkmore having the bye it was a great opportunaty to go 2 points clear on top of the ladder. And half way through the half found themselves 1-0 down and there backs up against the wall. But the Ringwood fighting spirit kicked in when Tully pounced onto a loose ball in the box and sent it past the keeper to level the scores at half time.1-1
Second half was going to be tougher having to defend against the wind for 45 minutes. As the game progressed so did Ringwood, and were rewarded when Daniel P sent into the box a long cross to the back post to find James V Gulik with a diving header to make the score 2-1 up. Ringwood started to get on top and continued to dominate when out of nothing Tully made it something when he took a long range shot which caught the keep to react late only to see the ball roll past his side and into the nets 3-1 up.
With the referee playing plenty of stoppage time it ment there was time for one more when Rodrigo saw the keeper of his line and cleverly chipped the ball over his head only to see the last defender punch the ball away and a red card for him. With the captain allowing Tox to get onto the score sheet and increase his tally, made no mistake from the spot and finish the game with a 4-1 win. Fantastic result. And now for the biggest test in a midweek catch up game against second place Parkmore, will be a great test of character for the lads.
