Subject: Cardamone in Decollatura

I've been trying to obtain proof of birth for both my Calabrian grandparents. The village of Conflenti sent out my grandmother's paperwork [Mendicino] in less than 2 weeks after I had mailed my request [in Italian] from the US. Absolutely no word in over 7 months from Decollatura for my grandfather's paperwork [Santo Cardamone]. I sent them my request with return postage twice. Does anyone have any ideas on why they might not be responding, or what I could do next??? Thanks.
