Storm of ache

I tremble inside
as the tears
rapidly scream
down my face,
creating
a trail
of
deep
ache.

My shoulders
heave and I
cannot
breathe,
gasping
for air,
my heart
shudders
and my soul
quivers,
crying out
without a
voice.

And I,
I fall,
tumbling
out of
control,
fading
within
an endless
sea of tears,
drowning
in a flood
of emotions,
going
no where.

The siren blew,
announcing this storm,
but I did not hear,
nor did I see
it coming,
for it came
out of no where,
this storm
of ache,
caught me
by surprise,
took me down,
took me
down
hard.

Within
these words
I find
temporary
relief,
from this
storm,
this storm
of ache.
